One animal is the Toucan. There are about forty different kinds of Toucans. They very in size from seven inches-two feet. Another animal is the sloth. The Sloth is a very slow animal (mammal). There are two species of sloths. Another animal out of many is the Spider Monkey. The Spider Monkey can be two feet tall without the tail.

In the tropical rainforest there is not much cooperation and competition. Many species and animals are independent. If one species goes away, many other species could have trouble with finding food, and eventually go away.
